NORA Pregnancy Tea
NORA tea is a traditional blend for prenatal care to nourish and prepare the pregnant parent for labor + encourage healthy lactation. These herbs are among some of the most nutritive, especially rich in iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, Vitamins A, C, K + more. A favorite among midwives, red raspberry has a long history of use for labor preparation due to its ability to tone the uterus, encourage efficient contractions + reduce excessive bleeding. Nettles: High in Vitamins A, C, D, + K , calcium, potassium, iron and silica. Strengthens the kidneys and adrenals, which is notably important during pregnancy. Promotes detoxification as a diuretic. Anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties.
Oat Straw: High in Vitamin B, calcium, magnesium, silica, potassium + iron. Stenghtens the whole nervous system, allowing for softening around stress, irritability, nervousness + exhaustion while aiding in achieving restful sleep. Demulcent properties make it soothing to the digestive tract and irritated tissue areas, including itchy skin.
Red Raspberry: High in potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamins A, B, C + E. This herb helps tonify, strengthening the tissue of the womb which can encourage effective, productive contractions and minimize excessive bleeding. The benefits continue postpartum, supporting healthy milk production and the body’s recovery.
Alfafa: High in iron, chlorophyll, magnesium, biotin, potassium, trace elements, Vitamins A, B6, D, E +K. This herb is like a super nutrient, densely packed with what you (and baby) need for proper nourishment. It works to tonify and purify the blood, helping balance blood sugar as well as encourage proper blood clotting.

Suggested intake: Add boiled water over 3 Tbsps herb in quart jar. Cover + steep for at least a half hour or overnight for maximum nutrient content. Drink as is or add some flavor with natural sweetners, juice, lemon, etc. Enjoy throughout the day.

Care: The kraft bag your tea comes packaged in is fully compostable! (Remove and dispose of stickers separately.) Once the package is opened transfer the blend to a mason jar or other resealable container to maintain freshness and nutritive quality of the herbs.
